About the Author

Shawn E. Marchese is an Austin, Texas-based homebrewer, blogger, writer and independent film producer whose writing has appeared in places as diverse as GameTrailers.com and Brew Your Own magazine. Brewing is a hobby that he shares with his family as well as his beer-loving friends; it’s in the spaces of his house, his family unit, and everything that makes his home.

Unrelated to brewing, Shawn is also co-host of The Prancing Pony Podcast, a podcast about the life and work of J.R.R. Tolkien. He is currently working on his first novel in between recording sessions and carboy and keg cleanings.
